Write any one of the following essay in 1000-1200 words.
The outline is needed ASAP. Explanatory Synthesis Assignment For this assignment, you are required to write a 1200-word synthesis essay about space exploration (the design and engineering of a space elevator) and you need to limit and narrow your focus in a way that fits the length of this assignment. In your synthesis, you will have a specific thesis that will reflect the scope of your paper, and you will draw upon 4 sources (two from the textbook and two external sources) to develop and support the idea/concept/phenomenon you are trying to explain. You will develop your thesis using a number of supporting ideas that your will analyze and evaluate. Remember that this is an explanatory synthesis, so you need to be objective in your treatment and development of ideas. It is very helpful to summarize the articles that you will use to develop your synthesis as early as possible in the writing process. Be flexible in choosing from these sources and dont hesitate to drop or replace one source by a new one if you feel that the one you are using is not helping you achieve your purpose. Remember to synthesize by idea; you need to find common thematic threads between different sources and see how they speak to each other. Drafting is another important technique that will help you polish your essay. Always refer to and consult with the explanatory synthesis general guidelines we discussed in our class (See pp. 102-03 in our textbook for more information on these guidelines. You will also be required to submit an outline that includes a working thesis and detailed description of the ideas and examples that will be discussed in your paper.
